In order to manage any of the content of this web site, you must first log in 
On the left-hand edge of the screen, you will see a login choice. It may be in a different font or color if your site has been customized. Left-click on login. login link

This login dialog will appear. You will need to enter your email address and your password in order to log in. (These must match the information already put in by the site's administrator.) Then click login.

(Note: A common mistake that people make is to hit 'Enter' (or 'Return' on a Mac) instead of clicking one of the Butons. This will seldom have the effect you want.)

For logging in, most of the options are pretty clear cut: You can log in, log in and change your password, or request that your password be emailed to you. The usual problem you'll run into is that you aren't registered as a user with privileges, or someone mistyped your email address when registering you.

Finally, some people make a game of trying to break into, and damage, web sites. To do this they will write programs that simulate a user typing in various email addresses and passwords until they get lucky. We try to discourage that kind of 'hacking' by keeping track of how many times you unsuccessfully try to log in. After a fairly small number of tries, the lower part of your login screen will say this:

It's difficult to write a computer program that can read the numbers in the yellow box. But you can read them. So this measure will stop most hackers and will slow you down only when you've been careless and forgotten your password or when someone, somewhere has been trying to use your login and guess your password
